Gajumaru-kun

Good morning. Today's picture is Gajumaru-kun taken from directly above. When you look at it this way, you realize that you usually look only at the trunk and not the leaves. The banyan leaves are dark green and the new leaves are bright green. I've seen pictures of banyan trees in Okinawa and other places that are taller than they are tall enough to look up at, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how big this hydroponic banyan tree will grow.
